Hooke’s joint

The Hooke’s joint is a mechanical joint that transfers rotation between two shafts, typically a crankshaft and a transmission. The Double Cardan joint offers smooth operation at higher operating angles than single cardan joints. But this type of joint is sensitive to ride height changes. Every inch increase in ride height changes the angle of the double cardan joint and the lower u-joint. For this reason, you may have to compromise between the two angles for a smooth operation.
